IRC Live Event: Following Titanic

One hundred years after the famous passenger ship was built and later sunk on its maiden voyage, The History Press has begun an ongoing campaign on Twitter sending messages from the maiden voyage as if it happened today.

For the duration of this event, lasting over a month, the #Auditorium channel on CrazeWeb.org servers has been reserved to relay these tweets the minute they are made available. This way, you can stay up to date on the progress while being connected to IRC.

TeamSpeak permissions revised

The TeamSpeak server permissions has been adjusted some, allowing temporary channels to be created by anyone. As written on the TS page, the following permissions are granted.

  • Guests can create temporary channels. These disappear when the last person leaves.
  • Regular users can create semi-permanent channels. These stays open when empty, but disappear when the server is restarted.

Minecraft v1.0.0 [mc.crazeweb.org]

Following the official Minecraft release, a new world has been generated on mc.crazeweb.org. The server will run vanilla Minecraft with whitelist enabled until these changes can be applied:

  • Bukkit updated to work with 1.0.0
  • Whitelist removed in favor of WorldGuard with permissions.
Other planned features:
  • Access to old world Crazeland using Multiverse
  • New creative world
